Article 26. Other troops and military formations The Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The creation, management and activities of other troops and military formations are carried out in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Other troops and military formations for defense purposes:
1) participate in the development of the defense plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) organize training for joint actions with the Armed Forces;
3) participate in the preparation of citizens for military service;
4) ensure the implementation of measures for the operational equipment of the territory for defense;
5) carry out the instructions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the organization of defense in accordance with the procedure established by the joint order of the first heads of authorized state bodies;
6) are involved in joint operational and mobilization training with the Armed Forces in cases stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. Recruitment of other troops and military formations is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. The supply standards for other troops and military formations are approved by the first heads of the relevant state bodies in coordination with the central authorized body for budget planning.
5. Other troops and military formations develop and submit for approval to the Ministry of Defense a list of military information and communication infrastructure facilities assigned to a single operator of military information and communication infrastructure.
6. The military information and communication infrastructure of special government agencies may be assigned to the service of a single operator of the military information and communication infrastructure by decision of special government agencies.
The list of military information and communication infrastructure facilities of special government agencies assigned to a single operator of military information and communication infrastructure is determined by the first heads of special government agencies.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of organization of defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the functions and powers of state bodies in ensuring the country's defense capability, the rights and obligations of citizens and organizations in the field of defense.
