Article 2. The legal basis of military service in the Armed Forces The Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel

     1. The legal basis of military service in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations is the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the specifics provided for by this Law, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating the activities of law enforcement agencies, and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    2. International treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan have priority over this Law. The procedure and conditions of operation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of international treaties to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party are determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 16, 2012 No. 561-IV SAM.

     This Law regulates public relations in the field of military service by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the foundations of the state policy on social security for military personnel.
