On awarding the Presidential Prize for Peace and Spiritual Harmony

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 22, 1998, No. 4126

Having considered the proposals for the award of the Presidential Prize for Peace and Spiritual Harmony in 1998, I HEREBY DECREE: 1. To award the Presidential Prize for Peace and Spiritual Harmony in 1998:       Pavel Alexandrovich Atrushkevich, Rector of the Kazakh State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan for active socio-political activities aimed at consolidating society and strengthening interethnic harmony in the Republic;       Abdumalik Nysanbaev, Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Editor-in-Chief of the Kazakh Encyclopedia, for his significant contribution to the development of socio-political, spiritual, moral and ideological concepts, as well as fruitful activities aimed at the development of democratic processes in the republic.;

    Sadovnichy Viktor Antonovich, Rector of Moscow State University

M.V. Lomonosov University (Russian Federation) for great achievements

in strengthening friendship, cooperation and scientific ties between Kazakhstan and

Russia, the training of qualified specialists in various industries for

republics.    

    2. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
