Article 8. Land zoning of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Zoning is the definition of the territory of lands with the establishment of their intended purpose and mode of use.
1-1. Zoning of lands in settlements is carried out in order to determine the boundaries of the assessment zones and correction factors to the basic rates of payment for land plots.
2. The organization of land zoning at the level of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance is carried out by the relevant authorized bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance. The land zoning project (scheme) is approved by the relevant representative bodies of oblasts, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, and cities of regional significance.
3. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.01.2006 No. 116 (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2 of the Law No. 116).
4. The target regime for the use of the territory, defined during the zoning of lands, is mandatory for subjects of land relations.
5. Land zoning is carried out by decision of local executive bodies and is carried out at the expense of budgetary funds.
