Article 2. Categorization of lands, their transfer from one category to another of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The assignment of lands to the categories specified in Article 1 of this Code, as well as the transfer of lands from one category to another in connection with a change in their intended purpose, are carried out by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, districts, cities of regional significance within their competence to grant and seize land, including for state needs, established by this Code and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
