Article 6. Requirements for the bailiff of the Law on Bailiffs
1. A bailiff may be appointed by a person who is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan at least twenty-one years of age, has a secondary (post-secondary) education, is capable of fulfilling the duties assigned to him by his business and personal qualities, as well as for health reasons, and has passed a special examination.
Bailiffs receive special training, after which they have the right to keep and carry firearms, service and electric weapons, and use special equipment.
2. A person who does not comply with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" may not be a bailiff.
