 The texts of the details and visual information are presented in compliance with the norms of spelling and authentic translation of the text.

The texts of the seals and stamps of government agencies contain their names in the official language.

The texts of the seals and stamps of organizations, regardless of the forms of ownership, are drawn up in the state and Russian languages.

The forms of state organizations are presented in the state and Russian languages, if necessary also in other languages.

The forms of non-governmental organizations are presented in the official language, if necessary also in Russian and (or) other languages.

Signage of government organizations is posted in the state and Russian languages, as well as in other languages, if necessary.

Signage of non-governmental organizations is placed in the official language, if necessary also in Russian and (or) other languages. Trademarks protected in the Republic of Kazakhstan, used in signage of non-governmental organizations, are set out unchanged.

The placement of a sign is allowed provided that a notice of the placement of the sign is sent in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications".

The notification is sent to:

1) local executive bodies of cities of republican significance, the capital, cities of regional significance – when placing signage in cities of republican significance, the capital, cities of regional significance;

2) local executive bodies of districts – when placing signage in cities of regional significance, villages, towns.

The notification is sent at least five business days before the expected date of the signage.

Attached to the notification are:

1) the form of information containing information about the location of the signage;

2) a sketch of the sign.

Local executive bodies have the right to provide written reasoned comments to the submitted materials, which are mandatory for elimination.

If comments are submitted by local executive bodies, the signboard can only be placed if the comments are eliminated.

If the local executive bodies do not provide a response within four working days from the date of receipt of the notification, the applicant has the right to place the signboard within the time limits specified by him.

Inscriptions on road signs are written in the official language, unless otherwise provided by international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Advertisements, advertisements, price lists, price tags, menus, indexes and other visual information are posted in the official language, if necessary also in Russian and (or) other languages, unless otherwise provided by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Product labels with special information, labels, and instructions for products manufactured in Kazakhstan must contain the necessary information in the official and Russian languages.

Product labels with special information, markings, and instructions for goods of foreign manufacture are provided with translation into the state and Russian languages at the expense of importing organizations.

All the texts of the details and visual information are arranged in the following order: on the left or top - in the official language, on the right or bottom - in Russian, written in letters of the same size. If necessary, the texts of the details and visual information can be provided additionally in other languages. At the same time, font sizes should not exceed the requirements established by regulatory legal acts. Oral information, announcements, and advertisements are given in the state language, Russian, and, if necessary, in other languages.

This Law establishes the legal basis for the functioning of languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the duties of the state in creating conditions for their study and development, and ensures equal respect for all languages used in the Republic of Kazakhstan, without exception.
