1. The Constituent Assembly of a consumer cooperative resolves the following issues:

1) decides on the establishment of a consumer cooperative, its name and location;

2) approves the list of members of the consumer cooperative on the basis of their applications, indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, place of residence and data of the identity document for citizens and indicating the name, location and bank details for the legal entity;

3) defines the subject and objectives of the activity;

4) determines the composition, amount and terms of making property (share) contributions;

5) approves the charter and the founding agreement;

6) elects executive, supervisory and other bodies;

7) determines the terms and persons responsible for state registration;

8) resolves other issues related to the creation of a consumer cooperative.

2. The decision of the constituent assembly is formalized by the protocol. The minutes of the constituent assembly shall be signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Constituent Assembly.

The Chairman of the Constituent Assembly is elected by a majority vote of its participants.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 8, 2001, No. 197.

This Law defines the legal status of consumer cooperatives, the organizational, economic and social conditions of their creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation, the rights and obligations of members, the powers and responsibilities of management and control bodies.
