Article 530. Procedure for proceedings in cases of criminal offenses of minors CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The provisions of this chapter shall apply in cases of persons who have not reached the age of majority at the time of the commission of a criminal offense, that is, eighteen years of age.
2. The procedure for proceedings in cases of criminal offenses of minors is determined by the general rules established by this Code, as well as the articles of this chapter.
3. The procedure for proceedings in cases of criminal offenses of minors shall not be applied in cases where:
1) the cases of several criminal offenses of this person are combined into one proceeding, some of which were committed after he reached the age of eighteen;
2) the suspect, the accused, the defendant, the convicted person have reached the age of majority by the time of the court proceedings.
