Article 20. Peculiarities of probation control in relation to minors of the Penal Enforcement Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Probation Service carries out probation control in relation to a minor:
1) sentenced to punishment in the form of restriction of freedom;
2) a probationer.
The police carry out probation control in relation to a minor:
1) released on parole from serving a sentence of imprisonment;
2) in respect of which a court has imposed a compulsory measure of educational influence.
2. Registration of a minor with the probation service or the police is carried out in the presence of parents or other legal representatives, and, if necessary, a teacher or psychologist.
3. In relation to minors, along with the measures specified in part two of this article, the probation service:
1) upon the arrest of a wanted minor, immediately summons parents or other legal representatives for questioning and to establish the reasons and conditions that contributed to evading serving sentences.;
2) jointly with representatives of the guardianship and guardianship authority, conduct a quarterly survey of the housing conditions of minors and draw up an act.
