1. The application for registration or re-registration of a periodical, news agency, and online publication must specify:

1) last name, first name and patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document), individual identification number, place of residence of the owner of the periodical or information agency or online publication – an individual, name, business identification number, location of the owner of the periodical or information agency or online publication - a legal entity;

2) the language(s) of the periodical or the materials and messages of the news agency or online publication;

3) estimated frequency of release;

4) the main thematic focus;

5) Distribution area;

6) last name, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document) of the editor-in-chief (editor);

7) Editorial office address.

2. It is prohibited to present other requirements when registering or re-registering a periodical, news agency, or online publication.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 23, 1999 No. 451-I.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of mass media, establishes state guarantees of their freedom in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
