Article 25. Transfer of information constituting state secrets by government agencies and organizations Chapter 6. Disposal of information constituting the State secrets of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Law on State Secrets
1. The transfer of information constituting state secrets is carried out by state bodies and organizations that are not in a subordinate relationship and do not perform joint work, with the approval of the state body in possession of this information in accordance with Article 15 of this Law.
2. State bodies and organizations requesting information constituting state secrets are obliged to create conditions that ensure the protection of this information. Their managers are personally responsible for observing the established procedure for reviewing information that constitutes state secrets.
A prerequisite for the transfer of information constituting state secrets to state bodies and organizations is their compliance with the requirements of this Law.
3. The procedure for the transfer of information constituting state secrets by state bodies and organizations is determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 15, 1999 N 349-1.
This Law defines the legal framework and a unified system for the protection of state secrets in the interests of ensuring the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulates public relations arising in connection with the classification of information as state secrets, their classification, disposal, protection and declassification.
