Article 347. Leaving the scene of a traffic accident of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     Abandonment of the scene of a traffic accident by a person driving a vehicle who has violated the rules of the road or the operation of vehicles, in the event of serious consequences provided for in Articles 345, 345-1 and 346 of this Code., –

     is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to one thousand monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to six hundred hours, or restriction of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years. years old or not.

     Note. A person who has left the scene of a traffic accident in connection with providing assistance to victims is exempt from criminal liability under this article.
