Article 165. Criminal violations of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 165. Criminal violations of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts  The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     Violations of international humanitarian law during an armed conflict, expressed in the transformation of non-defensible areas and demilitarized zones into an object of attack, or violation of armistice agreements, suspension of hostilities, or local agreements concluded for the purpose of exporting, exchanging, or transporting the wounded and dead left on the battlefield, or attacking civilians or civilian objects, or the transfer of part of its own civilian population to the occupied territory, or unjustifiably delay the repatriation of prisoners of war and civilians, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years.
