Article 1038. Inheritance of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Inheritance is the transfer of the property of a deceased citizen (testator) to another person (persons) - the heir (heirs).
2. The inheritance of a deceased citizen passes to other persons under the terms of universal succession as a whole and at the same time, unless otherwise provided by the rules of this section.
3. Inheritance is regulated by this Code and, in cases directly established by it, by other legislative acts.
