1. Notarial record keeping is carried out in accordance with the Rules on Notarial Record Keeping (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan in coordination with the authorized state body for Archives and Documentation management of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Republican Notary Chamber.

2. Territorial bodies of justice and notary chambers shall monitor compliance with the requirements of the Rules.

3. Documents of state notaries are subject to mandatory submission to the state archive in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Documents of private notaries are subject to mandatory submission to a private notary archive in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. The notary electronic repository is a component of the unified notary information system that provides temporary storage, accounting and use of notarial documents in electronic form.

A notarial electronic archive is a centralized information system designed for the collection, acquisition, acquisition, ordering, storage, accounting and use of notarial documents in electronic form.
