1. If a decision is made to terminate a criminal case, the person conducting the pre-trial investigation sends the resolution and the criminal case to the prosecutor for approval within 24 hours.

Upon termination of a criminal case in part or the criminal prosecution of individual suspects in full or in part, a resolution is sent to the prosecutor for approval.

2. Upon receipt of the resolution approved by the prosecutor, the person conducting the pre-trial investigation notifies the suspect, his defense attorney, legal representative, victim and his representative, civil plaintiff, civil defendant and their representatives of the termination and grounds for termination of the pre-trial investigation.

The right to review the case file and the procedure for appealing against the decision to terminate the pre-trial investigation are explained to these persons. At the request of these persons, they are given a copy of the resolution on termination of the pre-trial investigation or criminal prosecution, approved by the prosecutor.
