1. Public and private ownership of land is recognized and equally protected in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Subjects of ownership rights:

the subject of the right of state ownership of land in the territory of the Republic is the Republic of Kazakhstan;

the subject of the right of private ownership of land plots on the grounds, conditions and within the limits established by this Code are citizens and non-governmental legal entities. At the same time, citizens are understood to be citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners and stateless persons, unless otherwise established by this Code.
