Article 20. Entrepreneurial activity of public associations of the Law on Public Associations

     Public associations may carry out business activities insofar as it serves to achieve their statutory goals. Business activities of public associations are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     Income from entrepreneurial activities of public associations is subject to taxation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     Income from entrepreneurial activities of public associations cannot be redistributed among members (participants) of public associations and must be used to achieve their statutory goals. Public associations are allowed to use their funds for charitable purposes.  

        The right to freedom of association is one of the most important and constitutional human and civil rights, the realization of which meets the interests of society and is protected by the State.
