Article 13. Entrepreneurial activities in the field of veterinary medicine of the Law on veterinary medicine

     1. Entrepreneurial activities in the field of veterinary medicine are carried out by individuals and legal entities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of veterinary medicine.

     1-1. Types of business activities in the field of veterinary medicine carried out by individuals and legal entities include:

     1) veterinary therapeutic and preventive activities;

     2) sale of medicines for veterinary purposes, biological preparations, products and attributes of veterinary and zoo hygiene purposes;

     3) disinfection, disinfection, deratization, deworming;

     4) production and sale of veterinary drugs;

     5) veterinary and sanitary examination of products and raw materials of animal origin;

     6) other types of veterinary activities that are not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. Persons with higher, post-secondary or technical and professional education in veterinary specialties have the right to engage in entrepreneurial activity in the field of veterinary medicine.

     Individuals and legal entities engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the field of veterinary medicine shall notify of the commencement or termination of their activities in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 13-1 of this Law.

     3. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 29.03.2016 No. 479-V (effective from 01.01.2018).

     4. Individuals and legal entities shall keep veterinary records and reports on the results of their business activities and submit them in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of veterinary medicine.

This Law defines the legal, organizational, and economic foundations for veterinary activities and aims to ensure veterinary and sanitary safety.
