 The fingerprint information of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners and stateless persons obtained during fingerprint registration is used for:

1) confirmation and (or) identification of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners and stateless persons;

2) accounting and control of foreigners and stateless persons in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) ensuring the security of the individual, society and the state;

4) accounting and control of persons crossing the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the procedure of identity verification based on fingerprint information.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2016 No. 40-VI SAM.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of fingerprint and genomic registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
