1. The infrastructure of the city of Turkestan includes engineering, transport and social infrastructure aimed at ensuring the functioning and development of the city of Turkestan, creating and maintaining comfortable and safe conditions for its residents and tourists.

2. The development of the infrastructure of the city of Turkestan is regulated taking into account the special status of the city of Turkestan and is aimed at preserving objects of historical and cultural heritage, maintaining and developing the spiritual, historical, cultural and tourist spheres.

The general plan of the city of Turkestan should be developed taking into account the historical and architectural reference plan and the boundaries of the protected areas of historical and cultural monuments of the city of Turkestan.

This Law regulates the legal basis of the special status of the city of Turkestan and is aimed at its preservation, study and promotion as a unique heritage.
