On the abolition of Taldykorgan and Turgai regional courts, the abolition, formation and renaming of some district courts
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 1997 N 3484
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 15, paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of a Constitutional Law, dated December 20, 1995 N 2694 U952694_ "On courts and the status of judges in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and in connection with some changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic
I decree:
1. To abolish: Taldykorgan and Turgai regional courts; Zheleznodorozhny district Court of Karaganda; Moscow and Sokolovsky district courts of North Kazakhstan region; Asykatinsky, Zhetysaysky, Kelessky, Maktaaralsky, Saryagachsky and Turkestan district courts of South Kazakhstan region.
2. To establish: Maktaaralsky and Saryagashsky district courts of the South Kazakhstan region.
3. Rename: the Bishkulsky District Court of the North Kazakhstan region to the Kyzyl-Zharsky District Court of the North Kazakhstan region; the Leninsky District Court of the North Kazakhstan region to the Yesilsky District Court of the North Kazakhstan region.
4. In connection with the change in the borders of the Akmola, Almaty and Kostanay regions, assign: to the Akmola region: Derzhavinsky, Zhaksinsky, Zhanadalinsky, Yesilsky and Kiiminsky district courts of the abolished Turgai region; to the Almaty region: district and city courts of the abolished Taldykorgan region; to the Kostanay region: Arkalyk city court, Arkalyksky, Amantogaysky, Amangeldy, Dzhangeldinsky and Oktyabrsky district courts of the abolished Turgai region.
5. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
