On the discharge of conscripted military personnel who have served a fixed term of military service, and on the regular conscription of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for military service in October-December 1998

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 7, 1998 N 4110

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan Z939000_ "On Universal military duty and military service"

I DECREE:    

1. To dismiss conscripts from the ranks of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the reserve in October-December 1998, who have served the prescribed period of military service.    

2. To conscript for military service and the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in October-December 1998, male citizens who turn 18 on the day of conscription, who are not eligible for a deferral from military service, as well as older citizens who have lost the right to a deferral from conscription.    

3. Akims of the regions and cities of Astana and Almaty, together with local representative bodies in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan through military commissariats, ensure the work of regional, city and district draft commissions, take measures for organized conscription and

sending conscripted citizens to the troops for urgent military service

services.

   4. The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall ensure supervision over the accurate and uniform application of the Law of the Republic Z939000_

"On Universal Military duty and military service" and this Decree.

   5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
