Article 9. Territorial bodies of the National Security Committee of the Law on National Security Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan

      1. Territorial bodies of the National Security Committee for regions, cities of republican significance and the capital and subordinate city and district administrations (departments, offices) are established to implement the tasks assigned to the national security agencies in the relevant territory.  

      2. The territorial bodies of the National Security Committee for regions, cities of republican significance and the capital are legal entities, have valid and conditional names, seals and stamps, accounts, fixed assets, socio-cultural and medical facilities.  

      3. In their operational and official activities, the territorial bodies of the National Security Committee are independent of local representative and executive bodies and their officials.  

 

 

This Law defines the status, powers and organization of activities of the national security bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
