Article 9-1. Distribution receivers and special receivers of internal affairs bodies of the Law On the Procedure and Conditions of detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises providing Temporary Isolation from Society - Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 30, 2025 No. 203-VIII SAM

1. Distribution receivers and special receivers are structural divisions of the internal affairs bodies.

Distribution receivers and special receivers are created, reorganized and liquidated by the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Upon the introduction of a state of emergency, other premises that meet sanitary requirements and exclude the possibility of their unauthorized abandonment, adapted for the detention of persons who do not have a specific place of residence and (or) identity documents, or who have been subjected to administrative arrest, may be used as distribution receivers and special receivers by decision of the commandant of the area.

2. The procedure and organization of the activities of distribution receivers and special receivers are determined by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Financing of distribution receivers and special receivers is carried out at the expense of budgetary funds.

This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
