The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 25, 1993, the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan decides:

 a) for enterprises, associations and economic entities of republican ownership, as well as joint ventures with the participation of Kazakhstani and foreign legal entities and citizens: to the republican budget - 16 percent, to local budgets - 9 percent;  

b) for enterprises, associations, organizations of the meat, dairy, bakery and fruit and vegetable processing industries, as well as enterprises for the primary processing of wool and poultry farms belonging to republican ownership - 10 percent in full to the republican budget;  

c) for the main activities of public utilities owned by the republic: to the republican budget - 11 percent, to local budgets - 9 percent; d) for the main activities of consumer services owned by the republic: to the republican budget - 6 percent, to local budgets - 9 percent;

 e) for commercial banks, including cooperative and savings banks, as well as insurance organizations: to the republican budget - 33 percent, to local budgets - 12 percent;  

f) for stock and commodity exchanges, brokerage houses and firms, as well as enterprises in terms of profits from commercial and intermediary activities: 33 percent to the republican budget, 22 percent to local budgets;  

g) for foreign legal entities, one hundred percent of the revenue of the republican budget.  The footnote. Article 8 - as amended by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13 and October 25, 1993.
