Article 8. Protection and reproduction of bees Chapter 3. Protection of bees of the Beekeeping Law
The protection and reproduction of bees are carried out by the owner through:
1) protection of the bee habitat, breeding conditions, nomadic sites and migration routes of bees;
2) veterinary and sanitary services of apiaries;
3) ensuring the optimal number of bee colonies in their habitats;
4) scientifically based and rational use of bees;
5) taking measures to prevent the ruin and deliberate destruction of bee colonies;
6) protection of bees when using plant protection products, mineral fertilizers and other preparations;
7) promoting activities aimed at bee conservation.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 12, 2002 No. 303.
This Law regulates relations in the field of beekeeping products production, protection, use and reproduction of bees, their effective use for pollination of crops and all pollinated flora, creation of conditions for increasing productivity of beekeeping, as well as crop production, ensuring guarantees of observance of the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities engaged in beekeeping.
