1. An information agency is a legal entity registered in accordance with the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose activities are aimed at collecting, processing and distributing informational messages and materials.

2. The news agency's messages and materials must be accompanied by its name and release date.

3. When distributing news agency messages and materials by the mass media, a link to the news agency is mandatory.

4. The information agency is subject to articles 2, 10 of this Law.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 23, 1999 No. 451-I.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of mass media, establishes state guarantees of their freedom in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
