The basic principles of this Law are:

1) promotion of tourism activities and creation of favorable conditions for its development;

2) support of priority areas of tourist activity;

3) formation of an idea of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a country favorable for tourism;

4) security, protection of the rights of tourists and persons engaged in tourism activities and their associations, as well as protection of their legitimate interests and property.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 13, 2001 No. 211.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social, and organizational foundations of tourism activity as one of the sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
