The functions of the Foundation include:

1) financing of projects of participants of the innovation cluster;

2) development of proposals for the development of cooperation between the participants of the innovation cluster and foreign partners;

3) search for potential investors to implement projects of the participants of the innovation cluster;

4) participation in the creation, management and coordination of joint ventures in the form of technological development centers with multinational corporations;

5) creation and equity participation in investment funds, including equity participation in foreign investment funds;

5-1) provision of acceleration and technological business incubation services to subjects of innovation activity;

5-2) provision of marketing services to subjects of innovation activity;

5-3) provision of services for consulting, information, analytical, educational and other events to subjects of innovative activity;

5-4) cooperation with international organizations and foreign partners in order to attract information, educational and financial resources to stimulate the development of projects of participants in the innovation cluster, study international experience and exchange knowledge;

5-5) sending invitations and applications for foreigners and stateless persons to obtain visas to study under the Foundation's programs;

5-6) attracting non-residents and residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Fund in accordance with the rules of the Fund's activities;

5-7) registration of Astana Hub participants and issuance of relevant supporting documents in accordance with the rules of the Fund's activities;

5-8) providing housing and creating conditions for persons undergoing acceleration in the Fund, in accordance with the rules of the Fund's activities;

5-9) assistance in conducting and organizing events aimed at developing innovations in the corporate sector in order to improve interaction between the participants of the innovation cluster;

5-10) organization of training of qualified personnel in the field of information and communication technologies in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

5-11) approval of the list of participants of the innovation cluster;

6) other functions provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 10, 2014 No. 207-V SAM.

This Law defines the legal status of the Astana Hub innovation cluster.
