1. Departments of the National Security Committee are created to implement the tasks assigned to the national security agencies in certain areas of their activities.

2. Departments of the National Security Committee:

1) are formed, abolished and reorganized by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) are headed by directors who are appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;

3) are legal entities, have valid and conditional names.

This Law defines the status, powers and organization of activities of the national security bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
