The seizure of a manor plot is allowed only in cases and in accordance with the procedure established by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The conditions for the seizure of a manor plot and the forms of compensation provided to the owner of a house that is subject to demolition in connection with the seizure of the plot are determined by land and housing legislation.

At the same time, if an individual residential building to be demolished belongs to several owners on the right of common shared ownership, each of them has the right to receive ownership of a separate land plot for the construction of his own house and (or) to receive other compensation provided for by law.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 3, 1994 No. 213.

The purpose of this Law is to create a legal framework for regulating relations between the state, local executive bodies and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who act as developers (owners) of individual residential buildings in order to implement the constitutional right to housing.
