1. The main means of correcting convicts are:

1) the regime of serving a sentence;

2) educational impact;

3) Maintaining positive social connections;

4) socially useful work;

5) obtaining primary, basic secondary, general secondary, technical and vocational education;

6) Social impact.

2. The means of correcting convicted persons are applied taking into account the type of punishment, the nature, degree of public danger, the form of guilt and motives of the committed criminal offense, the personality of the convicted person and his behavior during serving the sentence.
