Article 7-1. Attestation Commission of Justice for the right to engage in notarial activities of the Law on Notaries
1. Persons applying for the right to engage in notarial activities are certified by the attestation commissions of justice for the right to engage in notarial activities established in the territorial judicial authorities of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital.
The Attestation Commission of Justice for the right to engage in notarial activity consists of seven members - two notaries, including the chairman of the notary chamber, two representatives of the territorial body of justice, a legal scholar and two deputies of the maslikhat.
The personal composition of the attestation commissions of justice for the right to engage in notarial activities and the rules of their work are approved by orders of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The main tasks of the attestation Commission of justice for the right to engage in notarial activities are:
1) ensuring a high-quality selection of applicants for obtaining a license for the right to engage in notarial activities;
2) ensuring the openness and transparency of meetings.
3. Representatives of the mass media may be present at the meeting of the attestation commission of justice for the right to engage in notarial activities.
4. In order to ensure the openness and publicity of the meeting of the Attestation Commission of justice for the right to engage in notarial activities, audio and (or) video recordings or shorthand recordings are carried out. The transcript, audio and (or) video recordings received during the meeting are attached to the minutes of the meeting and stored together with the materials of the attestation commission of justice for the right to engage in notarial activity.
