Article 65. Nationality of the child of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. The nationality of a child is determined by the nationality of his parents.

2. If the nationality of the parents is different, it is determined at the request of the child in accordance with the nationality of the father or mother when issuing him an identity card or passport.

3. In the future, the nationality of the child, upon his application, can only be changed to the nationality of the other parent.
