1. The State Register of Equity Securities shall be formed in accordance with the procedure established by a regulatory legal act of the authorized body on the basis of information on registered equity securities and their issuers entered by the authorized body, and databases of other central government bodies, as well as the Government for Citizens State Corporation.

2. Equity securities whose issue has been cancelled or information about which has not been entered into the State Register of Equity Securities may not be the subject of transactions on the securities market.

The first part of this paragraph does not apply to securities, the issue of which is registered in accordance with the legislation of a foreign state or acts of the Astana International Financial Center on the territory of the Astana International Financial Center.

 This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of issuing, placing, circulating and redeeming equity securities and other financial instruments, the specifics of the creation and operation of securities market entities, defines the procedure for regulating, controlling and supervising the securities market in order to ensure the safe, open and effective functioning of the securities market, and the protection of investors' rights. and holders of securities, fair competition of securities market participants.
