Article 6. The object of copyright. General provisions of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights
1. Copyright extends to works of science, literature and art that are the result of creative activity, regardless of their purpose, content and dignity, as well as the method and form of their expression.
2. Copyright applies to both published (published, published, published, publicly performed, publicly shown) and unpublished works existing in any objective form.:
1) written (manuscript, typescript, musical notation, etc.);
2) oral (public utterance, public performance, etc.);
3) sound or video recordings (mechanical, digital, magnetic, optical, etc.);
4) images (drawing, sketch, painting, plan, drawing, movie, TV, video or photo frame, etc.);
5) three-dimensional (sculpture, model, layout, structure, etc.);
6) other forms.
3. A part of a work (including its title, names of characters) that has the characteristics specified in paragraph 1 of this Article of the Law and can be used independently is an object of copyright.
4. Copyright does not apply to the actual ideas, concepts, principles, methods, systems, processes, discoveries, facts.
5. Copyright in a work is not related to ownership of the material object in which the work is expressed.
The transfer of ownership or ownership of any tangible object does not entail the transfer of copyright to a work expressed in that object, except in the cases specified in this Law.
