Administrative supervision is established for a period of six months to three years, and in respect of persons who have served sentences for criminal offenses against the sexual integrity of minors – until the expiration of the criminal record in accordance with article 79 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In cases of violation by the supervised person of the rules of administrative supervision or restrictions imposed on him, as well as the commission of offenses, the period of established administrative supervision is extended by a judge's decision on a reasoned submission from the internal affairs bodies each time for six months, but not more than two years, and in respect of persons who have committed criminal offenses against the sexual integrity of minors, each time for one year..

This Law defines the content of administrative supervision of persons released from places of deprivation of liberty carried out on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and establishes a system of legal guarantees of legality in its application.
