Public associations are equal before the law. Public associations operate within the framework of the Constitution and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Public associations are created and operate on the basis of voluntariness, equality of their members (participants), self-government, legality, accountability and transparency of activities.

The participation or non-participation of a citizen in the activities of a public association may not serve as a basis for restricting his rights and freedoms. The requirement to indicate membership (participation) in a public association in official documents is not allowed.

The right to freedom of association is one of the most important and constitutional human and civil rights, the realization of which meets the interests of society and is protected by the State.
