In accordance with this Law and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, protected persons are provided with:

1) the application of security measures by authorized state bodies in order to protect the life and health of protected persons, as well as to ensure the safety of their property;

2) the application of legal protection measures, including criminal liability for encroachment on their life, health and property;

3) implementation of social protection measures providing for the realization of the right to financial compensation established by this Law in the event of their death (death), bodily injury or other harm to their health, destruction or damage to their property.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2000 No. 72.

This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.
