Article 5. The basic principles of this Law are the Law on Combating Human Trafficking
The basic principles of this Law are:
1) legality;
2) humanity;
3) the priority of ensuring and protecting the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of man and citizen;
4) priority of preventive measures;
5) the complexity, consistency, and continuity of countering human trafficking through the joint efforts of the subjects of combating human trafficking;
6) the inevitability of punishment for crimes related to human trafficking;
7) the inadmissibility of discrimination against victims of human trafficking, including on issues of gender and the interests of children, ensuring their safety and assistance to them;
8) ensuring the confidentiality of information about a person and information that allows to establish the status of a victim of human trafficking.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2024 No. 110-VIII SAM.
This Law defines the organizational and legal framework for combating human trafficking.
