1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on railway transport is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those contained in this Law, the norms of the international treaty shall apply.

2-1. In case of international railway communication, documents are processed in accordance with agreements (agreements) in the field of railway cooperation in international passenger and freight railway communications.

3. The specifics of the organization, provision and performance of military and special transportation are regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2001 No. 266.

This Law regulates public relations between carriers, participants in the transportation process, government agencies, passengers, senders, recipients, shippers, consignees, and other individuals and legal entities when transporting passengers, baggage, cargo, baggage, and mail by rail.
