The activities of national security agencies are based on the principles of legality, secrecy, conspiracy, unity of command, equality of all before the law, respect for and observance of human and civil rights and freedoms, independence from the activities of political parties and other public associations.

This Law defines the status, powers and organization of activities of the national security bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 21, 1995 N 2710.
