The management of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out by the Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who is appointed, dismissed and (or) dismissed from service in special state bodies by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The structure and staffing of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan are approved by the President of the Republic on the recommendation of the Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
