Public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan are holidays celebrated on the following days:

New Year's Eve - January 1-2;

International Women's Day - March 8th;

Nauryz meiramy - March 21-23;

The Holiday of Unity of the people of Kazakhstan is on May 1.;

Defender of the Fatherland Day - May 7;

Victory Day - May 9th;

Capital City Day - July 6th;

Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan - August 30;

Independence Day is December 16.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 13, 2001 No. 267.

This Law defines the legal basis of holidays celebrated in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
