Article 227. Submission of deliberately false information by professional participants in the securities market of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The submission by professional participants of the securities market to government agencies and securities holders of deliberately false information about the number and types of securities held in the personal accounts of securities holders and about transactions with securities in order to extract property benefits, which caused major damage, –

     is punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two hundred monthly calculation indices or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to one hundred and twenty hours, or arrest for up to forty days, with or without deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years..
