Article 21. Ownership of public associations of the Law On Public Associations
The property of a public association is the objects necessary for the material support of the activities provided for by its charter, with the exception of objects prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The property of a public association is formed from entrance and membership fees, if their payment is provided for by the charter, voluntary contributions and donations, proceeds from holding lectures, exhibitions, sports and other events in accordance with the charter, income from industrial and other economic activities and other income not prohibited by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Members (participants) of public associations have no rights to the property transferred by them to these associations, including membership fees, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on self-regulation. They are not liable for the obligations of public associations in which they participate as members (participants), and these associations are not liable for the obligations of their members (participants), unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on self-regulation.
The property of public associations is protected by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
