1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the diplomatic service is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of public service in the part not regulated by this Law, other regulatory legal acts and international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establish rules other than those provided for by this Law, the rules of international treaties shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 7, 2002, No. 299.

This Law defines the legal basis, as well as the procedure for organizing the activities of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
