Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on highways of the Law on Highways

      1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on highways is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

      2. If international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establish rules other than those established by this Law, the rules of international treaties shall apply.  

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 17, 2001 No. 245.

      This Law regulates the legal, organizational and economic foundations of the state management of highways in the Republic of Kazakhstan, their construction, operation and development in the interests of the state and users of highways.
